Dr. Ned's Computer Store
can ship to virtually any address in Australia. Most of our shipments
are made directly by the distributor. This ensures the quickest
delivery time possible with minimal delays
and double handling.
All of our vendors strive to ship your order in a timely fashion.
Some items are made to order and therefore take longer to get to
you. These items will normally be clearly marked as such on the
specific product detail page. Occasionally due to circumstances
beyond our control we may be out of stock of certain items and
we may not have yet updated their product pages. In this case we
will notify you of an estimated delivery date and give you the
option of waiting for your items or receiving a full refund.
Delivery is by Australia
Post and various couriers, usually Fastway Couriers. Delivery times
vary depending on the delivery address but as a general guide major
cities and towns would be between 1-5 working days while more remote
areas can take up to 10 working days. Deliveries can only be made
where a signature to verify the delivery can be obtained. We understand
that at times this would be difficult but it is necessary to protect
all parties concerned. The best addresses are where someone is home
between 7am and 6pm weekdays or a business address which is open
during normal business hours. Usually if delivery cannot be made,
Australia Post and couriers will leave a note to make another appointment
or for you to pick up that item but this cannot be taken for granted.
If delivery cannot be made you will be responsible for any delivery
fees incurred even though you may not receive the item. Customer Pickup
Picking up your items
directly from Dr. Ned's Computer Store can also be arranged. Generally the
same shipping fees apply as your order still needs to be shipped
from the distributor's throughout Australia to Dr. Ned's Computer Store
here on the Gold Coast. Having your order sent to Dr. Ned's Computer Store
is necessary when you require your components to be configured,
installed, setup or assembled. Our shipping prices are
for a 100 kilometer radius of Brisbane. Contact us for shipping

As a general rule we are unable to accept
the return of goods that fall under these categories:
Change
of mind
Duplicated order
incorrectly ordered
The reason for this policy is simply because
our importers and suppliers will not accept returns from
us, nor give us a credit. So we in turn must ad hear to
the same policy.
So please choose and order carefully.
If you are not sure what an item is for or if it is compatible
please ask and we are happy to check on it for you
If your goods are faulty they can be returned
to us with out any problems , please see details below on returning

can be returned with these conditions: Please contact us first
to obtain a Return Authorisation Number. Returned goods cannot be
accepted without a Dr. Ned's Computer Store Return Authorisation Number.
If the product has been tampered with in any way, the credit/repair/replace
will be rejected.
It is your responsibility to pay the freight charges to Dr. Ned's Computer Store.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure they have a proof of
delivery for goods returned to us. Goods that are shipped freight
on or receiver to pay will be rejected at goods inwards in our warehouse,
leaving the courier responsible.
Return Authorisation's are only valid for 14 days.
Once we have received the items they will then be evaluated and
credited, repaired or replaced at the manufacturers, distributor's
or Dr. Ned's Computer Store discretion. You will be advised of the result.
In the case of some hardware (printers, monitors etc.) please contact
the manufacturer to have repairs carried out under warranty. If
you need assistance we are happy to help, just contact us.
We are sympathetic when it comes to returns and will consider all
requests for returns which do not meet these criteria on a case
by case basis. To return goods, follow

Policy (above) before filling out Return Authorisation Number request
form.
A copy of the RA form issued is to be attached to returned goods,
or goods will be returned upon arrival.
All incorrectly ordered goods returns must be unopened and in sellable
condition otherwise credit may be rejected.
If the product has been refilled or tampered with in any way it
will be rejected.
Seal and secure all goods to ensure unbroken arrival without leakage
or loss in transit.
A 20% restocking fee will apply to goods being returned where original
fault of supply lay not with Dr. Ned's Computer Store.
Faulty products are credited or repaired/replaced at our discretion.
Freight on return goods will not be paid by Dr. Ned's Computer Store. Warranty Most, if not all products
come with a minimum of one (1) year warranty. If you purchase a
fully assembled system, including any extras, this usually has a
two (2) year warranty. Possible Exceptions:
Monitors 1 year, Hard Drives 1,2,3 years, Printers 1 year or manufacturers
warranty, Modems 5 year, Memory 2, 5 years or even lifetime. All warranty claims are
R.T.B meaning Return product To Base (Dr. Ned's Computer Store). All freight
to and from Dr. Ned's Computer Store is care of customer as described in
the above section Returns.
